Piano Recital 2011 -- THANK YOU to everyone who participated and donated to the Kentucky Governor's School for the Arts!
We raised $323 for this great cause!!
Past performance info --
June 18, 2011, 7 p.m.: Solo piano recital in Bowling Green, KY, at Christ Episcopal Church, 1215 State Street (in the Parish Hall next to the Warren County Public Library's parking lot). Admission is FREE, and everyone is invited.
Parking is available on the street behind the church (College Street) and in the church parking lot at the corner of 12th and College.
The program will include the first movement of Bach's Italian Concerto, three of Debussy's Preludes, Beethoven's Sonata No. 23, Op. 57 ("Appassionata"), and Schumann's Carnaval. A reception will follow the program.
If you wish, you will have the opportunity at this recital to donate to the Kentucky Governor's School for the Arts, which provides --absolutely free of charge to students -- an intensive 3-week summer arts program for Kentucky high school students (and eligibility for college scholarships for GSA alumni), as well as art workshops throughout the commonwealth. This program has had a great positive impact on the next generation of Kentucky artists, and the Mo family is profoundly grateful for it: two of the Mo Brothers are alumni, and I will be attending this summer's (2011) GSA session. Please help us "give back" and support this vital program. Checks can be made out to "Governor's School for the Arts." Thank You!!
